CPO Speaker Series: Pursuing Student Success in Urban Schools

Date : Tuesday February 19 at 10:11

How do you spell success? When it comes to urban schools, it’s through a passionate belief that every student can learn. There are no throwaway kids. While it is true that many students deal with personal challenges at home or outside of school, they all have a right to find their place in school. This speaker series event will examine the challenges faced by urban priority schools and will look at the key factors for success: caring adults, good teaching and positive school environments. There is no one size fits all solution, but together, we can make a difference. Join us to discuss four City of Ottawa case studies.
