RFP to research Culture of Weapons Carrying among Ottawa youth and young adults

Crime Prevention Ottawa is looking for qualified researchers or organizations respond to our Request for Proposal for the development of a research project that will explore weapons carrying behaviour among youth and young adults. This study will explore the motivations behind this behaviour, and the perceptions around risk and safety youth have regarding weapons carrying.

This RFP directly responds to the needs identified via community consultations we conducted when refreshing our Ottawa Street Violence and Gang Strategy.

The deadline to apply is Monday, June 3, 2019.

RFP for Needs Assessment Regarding Violence and the LGBTQ2S+ Community

Crime Prevention Ottawa is looking for qualified researchers or organizations respond to our Request for Proposal for the development of a needs assessment regarding violence and the LGBTQ2S+ community.   The intent of the research is to focus on understanding the prevalence of violence, including partner assault, sexual assault, and hate crime as well as exploring possible recommendations with regards to violence prevention strategies.

The deadline to apply is Monday, June 17, 2019.
