Being a part of positive change and making a difference in the community is the daily driver for Stéphane. As CEO of a $2 billion housing portfolio at Ottawa Community Housing (OCH), the largest social housing provider in Canada’s National Capital, he leads an award-winning organization that directly impacts the lives of over 32,000 people living in 15,000 OCH homes. He provides strategic direction and leadership to 340 employees whose specialized skills provide affordable housing to seniors, families, single persons and those living with special needs.
As he promotes OCH as more than a landlord – more than bricks and mortar, he maintains the high-profile portfolio that spans several specialties. From asset management to community development, government and stakeholder relations, community health and business development – Stéphane incorporates the diversity of OCH tenants’ needs into the services the organization delivers. One of his key priorities is to work with his team to build on the organization’s solid foundation to better position the corporation for continued growth by identifying new sources of funding and business development opportunities.
As an acclaimed business and corporate development leader and in combination with his Finance and Public Administration background, Stéphane brings to OCH an impressive range of professional successes and experiences that benefits the organization, its tenants and stakeholders.
